I am looking to secure all of the ports on my network which consists of all Cisco 2650 switches. We would like to prevent "unauthorized" laptops or Pc being plugged into the network. Is there a way to do this globally or is the http manager the only way to do this? any suggestions on how to do this or alternatives would be much apprachiated

Thanks

Perhaps you could used a VLAN membership policy server to assign all "legit" machine MAC addresses to a functional VLAN? That would permit a centralized management scheme, though you will still need those darned MAC addys :)
