Port Dead After Moving ext

Moved a cust ext from ie 202 to 207. After customer wanted to move it back , when I did the port appeared dead. Plugged directly into the port with ext no go! Do the ports just die? Any hints?

Ports can go bad. Have you gone into maintenance and disabled and reinabled the port, in case it's hosed up?

Another option is to leave it on the port it's on and change the DN under system programming
