Hi,

I use the Fworks 4 pop up menu feature and works ok for me, BUT, the problem is, the popup appear in the same frame as the rollover pics. Is there a way to make it appear on the 'top' document, like a layer? Thanx....

This requirs dhtml, fireworks can't do it.

There are a few dhtml drop down menu's on the web, free ones at that. Haven't used them, don't know if theyu are any good and don't remember the URL, but they exist, have a look and feel free to let me knwo if they work!

I use Rollover Buttons on my webpage. When I roll over the buttons, a drop down menu appears. The problem is that instead of the drop down menu appearing in the same frame, I want the menu to drop down into another frame. Is this possible to do? And if so, how do you do it?

I would like to know how to make the target pages from the links in the pop up menu open in another frame.

The menu's work fine, but the open the page in the same frame as the menu!!!!

Any ideas?

Does anybody know whether the popup menus can be used in Unix? I have tried but it seems to fail?

Thanks for the help.

Maz

There is a way to make fireworks menus appear on top of frames, but you have to start using Iframes. Essentially you create the header in the base HTML doc and drop an Iframe under neath it to hold the rst of the content, Your pop-up menu lives in the header and will popup over the Iframe.
