Populate Subforms from Main Form on Data Entry

I need help! I have a form that will be used to add new customers... it has two subforms on it... how or what do I do to get the data from the main form field to populate the subforms in the proper fields?

Use the Link Master/Link Child properties of the subform controls. Typically there should be only 1 or 2 fields.

That's linking them... I was looking on populating fields from the main form to the subform on data entry.

That is what linking does. I both filters the records in the subform and provides default values for the fields.

thx dhookom... I think I need to change my title from programmer to "not so sure what I'm doing anymore"... LOL I forgot how sensitive access is to having a space in the field names. I am still having trouble getting the two subforms to even come up as a "add" form to add data in each subform when the master form is open to "add" a new customer, and still have the fields in the subforms to populate with data upon imput on the master form... kina makes me dizzy :-/

If you have trouble with any type of development, back up and start with a couple related tables and a main and subform. Set the Link Master/Child to the "join" fields from your relationship diagram.
