Pop3 for Exchange 5.5

The pop3 connector in ex2000 allows download of pop3 mail from your ISP, as opposed to SMTP feed and push.

Where can I find this in ex 5.5, or is it only available in Back Office SBS, just like the pop3 con is only available with 2000 SBS

As far as I know, you can only use 3rd party utilites, like the known POPBeamer program (search for it on the net).

Exchange 5.5 definately does not have a pop3 connector (strangely SBS exchange does come with a pop3 add on!).

I ended up using a third party program called Pytheas MailGate. It was on the wee bit expensive side compared to others out there but it did the job. The other cheaper solutions always had problems.

Also try PopCon its cheap and works. Been using it for almost 2 years now with no problems. Hope this Helps
