How do I insert a pop-up window? I want users to be able to click on a hyperlink and then a smeller window (ones with just the Title bar and minimise, maximise, close buttons that appears on top of the main web page).
Hope you know what I mean - like the 'Join Tek Tips Today' window'!
Thanx in advance.

Hi shee,

Well, I used the code. I wanted the first option, but I'm not sure on what URL to use or how to edit the content of the pop-up window. At the monemt I just get a server error when I use the link - I guess it's looking for an intenet address, but I want it to be a pop-up window which is designed as a page in FrontPage.

...basically I'm creating a web-site for my band and I want a pop-up of our full schedule of gigs - it's often too long to list on the main page. Check out this website of another band to see what I'm trying to do (obviously not exactly the same design - I don't need the print button or close button window and I'm just going to list our gigs as text not in a table, but you get the idea).

(click on print-ready schedule on the right hand side.)

Hi James,

First you have to create a page with the schedule on it in FrontPage (will become your pop-up window) and name it so that you will know what the URL of the pop-up window will be (it will be .html, .asp, whatever).

When you have changes to the schedule, you don't need to do anything to the pop-up window code, just make the changes on the schedule page and publish. If you're using text without tables it will wrap to fit in your pop-up window.

Hope that helps,
shee
