Hi. The boss asked me to set up our access database so that when a date field is clicked, a calendar pops-up and you can select the date. The date that you select with the mouse is then put into the field.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Ry

Get the hands on the calander control. It comes with the developer edition of MS OFfice and/or VB 6.0.

Look in the Solution.mdb that ships as a sample application.
Category Sample Reports
Example Employee Sales
It uses the Calendar control mentioned in the prior post.

Hope this helps

I know how to get the calendar control in there and link it to a date field, but how can I make a button so that when my user clicks on it, the calendar will pop up, and then go away when the date is selected...

Thanks,

Ry

I have a sample db that may help, if you'd like it you can supply me your email address.

I use a control (active x) that's name
Ms Date and Time Picker Control 6.0 (SP4) [MSCOMCT2.OCX].

First it looks like a combobox with a default date, when you clic the arrow, it transforms in a calendar. The user select the date and it returns like a combo box.

I don't know what you had to have to have it but I just have to go it the tool box icon with "..."

In VB the composant I have to have is :

Ms Windows Commun Controls-2 6.0 (SP4)

Hope that help :)

That last one worked great guys....

Thanks!
