I have a quick question about using pop3 connections with ssl.
I have enabled pop3s in my xinetd and disabled ipop3, also I updated my ssl certificate for pop3. However I cannot connect to the mail server using Evolution (linux mail client) using ssl. It says it can't access port 995(which is open). However I can connect using Eudora (windows machine) with ssl enabled. Is there a way to tell if my connections are really being encrypted, or if eudora is just defaulting to standard pop3.
Thanks, Nicao
