Hi,

I have been working on a problem for a few days now--I am writing reports for a JD Edwards database. When I use just one or two tables/views performance is pretty snappy. But when I add more than that I get 5-10 records per 30 seconds.

Has anyone worked with JD Edwards before and come across the same performance issues?

Thanks so much!

I'm not familiar with 'JD Edwards'. But it's always worth looking at the SQL generated, Datebase > Show SQL Query for Crystal 10.

If some of your select statements do not have any corresponding SQL, then the work is being done by your machine rather than the server. The difference can be astonishing.

Yes Thank you, I am aware of that, but in this case when using JD Edwards tables and Biz Views you are not able to see the SQL query being generated and you are not allowed to use a command objecd which would by pass the Crystal Reporting engine, sending your query straight to the database.

Thanks so much Madawc!
