Xmas is closing in fast, that calls for some sharing ![[santa] [santa] [santa]](/data/assets/smilies/santa.gif)
Many customers wants to know the traffic numbers on their IVR/AA, what callers selected within a time frame.
In VMPro you can do this quite easy...Here's how:
In IPO:
- Create dummy user 777 and forward unconditional to 555 (tick internal too)
- Create Short Codes:
555 / VM Collect / "Reporting" / 0
*98 / VM Collect / "IVR" / 0
In VMPro:
- Make User Variable: Opt1 -> Opt5
- Download these Modules and import them
- Make an alarm, something like this:
- Make VM to Email work
- Record a prompt in the Menu (in IVR-mod)
- Set a valid email address in the eMail-box (in Reporting mod)
You may now run a few calls to *98 and dial some of the 5 options.
Then dial 555 to run the report manually.
If you did everything by the book, you will now receive an email with the numbers for the IVR.
Now, the alarm you made earlier can be set to daily, weekly or monthly, and will automatically send the report on your chosen intervals.
You need to trim the setup to make it fit your system, like the Transfer destination, etc.
(Any Names/Extn/SC numbers above are just guidelines, and you can expand on this to collect numbers on other traffic as well - Just use your imagination
)
Created on R8.1.85, should work fine on 7, 8, 9 and 9.1.
(Those on R9.1 or any other with a CCR/DB license, may use data base reporting - I'll post that setup early next month.)
Have a nice day!
Kind regards
Gunnar
