I currently have a Polycomm Viewstation SP384 with the external ISDN Brick with 3 S/T modules. I installed a TN556D card into my Definity system. I need help programming the lines for this card so I can extend them over to the Viewstation. I have tried before but am having no luck getting this to work currently. I am not sure if it is a wiring issue or a prgramming issue. Can anyone give some assistance?

Thanks much for the help!

=)

The board may be your problem. At present you have 2 wire ISDN lines to your equipment. The TN 556 boards are a 4 wire circiuts. The wiring is laid out on the white/blue white/green pairs. Avaya does make a board that has a 2 wire setup, but I am not sure of the Tn number.

As mikeydidit said the 4 wire interface on the 556 card are in an S/T mode instead of the U interface on the TN2198. Which means you can't plug the TN556 into an NTU if you have them in the polycom they won't come up. You should program them as follows notice the lack of SPID's on the second page.
