Nortel MICS 7.0 w/ PRI - I read several threads regarding running various Polycom Soundstations on an MICS. What is the preferred hardware & connection method. Appreciate the knowledge all you guys have to offer.

Polycom made a Norstar version - Norstar Conference Unit, you might find a used one.
It uses a digital port just like a digital phone.

Otherwise any analog conference device will work but you need an ATA (Analog Terminal Adapter) to convert digital to analog.
Look for Polycom SoundStation 2....you only need external microphones if table starts to exceed 12 people (longer tables).

I have a couple ATA2 adapters available. I'll look to see what I can find Soundstation wise. Thank you.

You should have 1 ATA port on the station block. I know the CICS is port 117. Refer to your wiring guide.

Just installed a soundstation 2 this morning on a MICS using an ata 2. Works fine like always. Don't use an ata 1. I have had audio problems with those when being used for cordless phones or conference units.
