Polycom Soundstation 7000s 1

We recently upgraded our SM's from 6.3. to 7.1. We pushed the latest firmware to our Polycom Soundstation 7000 speakerphones prior to the SM software upgrade.

All of the Polycom's cannot answer an incoming call from the green answer button. The ringing stops and we get a flashing green signal but no audio. Outbound calls work OK.

Any ideas what could be causing the problem?

maybe try using TLS and SIPS URIs with the polycoms? haven't bothered trying yet. I know it shows up when the polycom is TCP. Maybe it playing ball with TLS smartens it up enough to understand SIPS URIs anywhere else in the end to end call flow.

That's pretty old news though. Try running the latest Polycom firmware

Polycom released a firmware update on August 2nd: UC software 4.0.14 with updater 5.0.14. We pushed to Soundstation 7000, tested wand it fixes the issue.

Unfortunately Polycom took their sweet time since Avaya issued the PSN back in November of last year on SM 7.1.
