Hi everyone,

I am working with a Polycom IP 4000 and NEC SV8100 system.

I am unable to get the conferencing feature to work on this device with the PBX. If I try creating a conference using the IP 4000 Confrc softkey then the conference is created but only one of the other parties is in the conference the second user is on hold. If I try to use the 826 service code of the SV8100 then this fails because I have no physical Flash, R key to press and once the Resume softkey is pressed once this changes to another feature so can't be used. I have looked at the configuration files and I believe but may be wrong that you are un able to edit the softkey/enhanced feature keys for this device type so if anyone has managed to get this working or come across a similar issue and found a solution any information would be appreciated.

At the moment the only workaround is to use the conference bridge on the SV8100.

Hey Stewh,

I also tried to make conference it doesnt work with SV8100, you can use it in a confernce room.

Establish the conference with a Dterm and include the polycom.

Try this

Give a unique extension number in 11-19 for Conf Group 1,
Give this grop a name if required in 20-34-01,
Set a password for the group
Set the maximum number of participants
Set up an indial number if required.

Callers now can call directly to the number in 11-19 or the indial number and caller can be conferenced into the group from a multiline.
