Hi Folks,

Actually we have a customer who is interested in A Queue-Feature (that tells the customer how many others are in line before him/her and how long the waiting time is)
so we came to the "polty" solution CC Queue. there are not many informations out in the web about that CC-Server so i thought maybe one of you has used this solution and can tell me something about it.
my main points are:
Is this a physical device or just a piece of software running?
How is it attached to the (in my case Panasonic KX-NS700) PBX?
and last, but not least: Do you set it up and its running, or does someone have to "supervise" and manage the calls by hand all the time?

any input is appreciated
Thanks

Unfortunately I've never had an experiense with Poltys.
Did you think about KX-NSXF021W - "Queue position informing" Activation Key for NS?

@Ired Thanks for your suggestion. in fact i didn't think about that method. but since i have posted this. the guys from polty replied and i will probably get a free trial version soon, so i can test how /if it works. i am going to share the results if you're (or someone else) is interested in it. as far as they tole me it is "software only" and needs a server or pc in the same network (so best would be a dedicated server)

for the next time someone is asking for such a queue system i gonna check out the License :)

OK, but remember - Poltys needs an annual fee for it's tech support. I hope you'll investigate their suppot terms and conditions before purchacing this software.

Meanwhile NSXF021 you'll need to buy only once for all PBX's lifetime. Please contact your dealer for details.

Okay i have a Trial version which i gonna set up in a teamviewer session on thursday. (and thx for the hint with the terms) but our sales agent has to deal with that i guess.
for the next project i'll definately consider the solution from panasonic it will be so much easier to handle and set up
