I am dealing with a medical institution that wants to provide public Internet access to it's patients. It is necessary for the public user (patient) to agree to a usage policy before access is granted. There is a PIX in play and the public access is a seperate network from the main production network(s).

Can anyone point me in the right direction for product(s) or solutions?

TIA!!

Cisco Aironet is a great access point, very stable, great access and compatibility. the 1320AG is a nice model.

Any network card that fits your needs, or is in use by your patients should work with little or no problem.

As for signing a waiver/usage policy prior to use is more of a CYA type of thing and I would recommend it. Last thing you need is a patient that is in for surgery on his....private parts, downloading porn and getting injured and suing the hospital for not warning him of this potential.

Thanks for your input. We have Cisco Aironet access point all over the place. What I am really looking for is how they do at motels when you want to get on to the Internet, you agree to a disclaimer on a web page then it lets you surf the Internet.

I am just installing a Cisco 4400 wireless lan controller. In it there is a way to configure an open connection that 1st prompts you for a user/pass. On it you can have a terms of service statement.

I haven't done a search but what it looks like you want is a "web cafe" application to greet the wireless guests.
