This may seem like a dumb question but I am having a design issue. Can EIGRP advertise routes across an IPSEC VPN point to point tunnel? I know I can configure EIGRP on the ASA and advertise the configured networks but will those EIGRP routes be advertised to the other side of the IPSEC tunnel?
Thanks

i've never tried it with eigrp so i'm not 100% sure if it can or not. i know you can configure static neighbors within the eigrp routing process itself, but i don't know if it will work. is it possible to add a couple of cisco routers to your design and run a GRE over IPSec tunnel??

I was trying to avoid extra hardware since this is only a short term solution. We are re-building the entire production network from the ground up and being able to advertise routes across the point to point VPN would help determine the steps involved. I'll look at the static neighbors.
