I am trying to stock control system which links to the point of sale.

I have a form for products and would like to be able to choose a no. of products to sell. I would also like the sale to effect the stock control.

Does anyone have working examples or any ideas??
Many thanks.

"Working" examples in Ms. A.? I hope not. Access is probably a poor choice for POS applications. It is NOT a clien-server application, and even a modest rate of 'real-time' transactions will probably cause sufficient delay to irritate your customers.

IF you hace some limitation which dictates the use of Ms. Access in real time transaction processing, I would suggest that the "sales" simply be recorded at the POS terminal/system and posted to the inventory at "closing" of the POS station.

At "startup" of the POS station, you could "re-load" the stock and price lists, so any changes to the items for sale (or their prices) would be refreshed at the terminal. The one BIG caution to you, is to NOT leave items off of the stock list -just because the "inventory" shows no items available. After all, it could be quite embarassing to have to refuse a sale because someone mis-counted on an inventory.
