Does anyone know if GBIC's for cisco 2950 48 port switch supports POE?

I'm sorry but a GBIC is purely a interface for turning electricty into light.



It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

Not technically true that it only turns electricity into light . They have copper gbics that will plug into these ports ws-g5483 . I just don't think the 2950 itself supports POE .
