Pocket PC Access

Just wondering if anyone has experience working with Pocket PC and Access together.

I am about to start a project - the Pocket PC will gather the field data and will import into an Access Database.

Maybe someone knows of some useful literature on the subject?

Hi,

I have used the pocket pc to update access databases. However, I don't know what type of enviroment that you are working in. I developed a webbased db (in .asp) - provided that the pocket pc is running windows ce, with the web browser enabled... My company's pocket pcs connected to it via a wireless network and did live updates via the web. If you are not going to do this then you have a few options available. There are several software packages available that will automatically do this (tie into a central access database on a server when the user connects the ppc to a cradle). YOu can get a demo product called MOTIVUS - it seems to work well (in my tests anyway). Or you can also create an excel spreadsheet and have the user dump the data onto a server/work pc and then create code to import the spreadsheet into access. I have not done this (but I have seen it done and it seems to work). You can also try these links:
