POA/POD in CLS

i have a guy with two phones, same PDN and rollover. his secy has his appearances on her phone. If one of his phones is set to POD and one is set to POA can the secy jump in on his calls or not? if he's on the POA set she can and if he's on the POD set she can't? also, I don't want him to get a message waiting light on his second phone, just the phone on his desk. Do i just set the table phone to MWD and remove the MWK key?

If her phone is set to POA she should be able to pick up on all his lines no matter which phone he is on. As far as the message waiting you can try MWD on that set, but also make sure that the phone that you want to light up is MARPed for all the DN's.

we don't have MARP turned on in LD 17. Do I need to do anything else? He does not want a message indicator on the second phone.

sent my last response too soon. secy set is POD. one of CEO's phones is POA, one is POD. Secy has CEO's exts on her phone. Can she or can she not jump in on his calls? he does not want her to. thx

I have an option 61c and I know that both sets need to have POA to allow her to have access to his calls. If one is set to POD and another to POA she can not have access unless she is set at POA also.
