PMS on SX200 ICP

I have pms on a sx200ICP 4.0.1.11 MX.

PMS program (Micros-Fidelio)can light the lamps turn them off.It can also check in and check-out guests.

The problem is it can't open the room phones.

any suggestions.

You say it can check in and check out the phones.

If by "Opening" a phone you mean "Remove restrictions" then you must set the system options associated with a checked in and checked out phone. (Options 57 and 58)

You may also require option 32 for Outgoing Call restriction.

All of the above in fully dependant on your ARS being programmed correctly for it to function properly.

I checked both options 57 and 58 and they are set to internal option 32 is enabled.

If you want a "Checked In" phone to have restrictions removed automatically then the option for a checked in phone should not be set to internal calling only as stated above.

This would appear to be your issue.

57 =INTERNAL
58 = LNG DIST

Setting option 58 to Local or Long Distance should accomplish what you want.

It may not work however if the ARS on your system does not have the appropriate long distance or local designations in the ARS Digit tables.

I had option 58 changed to LD.
I am awaiting the testing.
