My printer cannot print a shadow I made by making a copy of the object and then blurring it.

It will print if not blurred. I thought it was because it was a pantone colour.

Ideas?

Does your printer support postscript level 3? If not is your file expanded on the shadow most times the printer will print it if it has been expanded (created a raster shadow) save it like that for the printer and then undo and resave it for editing / file size after that.

Thank you for replying so quickly.
When I say 'my printer', I mean the print house. They can't print it and I have to assume they know what there doing.

I'll try your solution though.

Thanks so much.

If it's a spot color job, effects like Gaussian Blur won't print because they get changed to Process (CMYK). You may have to find another way to create that look without using effects.
