Hi
we are useing Informatica 7.X version
And I have to schedule a workflow using the pmcmd command.
I have looked up the help for this, but I don’t know where to write the script.
I mean do I have to write a .ksh file for that? (we use K Shell).
I know how to do it through the client in the Workflow manager (in the settings, thru scheduler)
But I have to use the pmcmd command.
Please help
Thanks in advance…

pmcmd allows you to start a workflow (command line / interactive mode) , but you need a external scheduler to call the pmcmd script.
On Unix you will need to use a shell script I guess...

Thank you Ties.
I already knew that I have to use an expertnal script file. But I dont know how to code that. I was thinking if any one could guide me through it.
Probably someone has a copy of such a file which I can see and use that.
I also hear that it is some kind of a bat file.
Anyone please help.
Once again your help is much appreciated Ties.
Thank you.
