pls suggest a hosting service?

i need the following support:
1. ASP.net
2. SQL Server/Access
3. Cheap :)
4. mainly sell things to US

Hm I could not get the above link to show. Actually after about 10 seconds - I quit watching. So I could not compare. But the hosting business is very competitive & you get what you pay for. I was with one company before Hostway because they were supposed to be number one & really cheap. We had severe problems. And ever since we moved - no problems.

BTW, I was able to go to the main site but the hosting page never came up. Not a good sign.

Corey, are you living in North America? In HK, webhost4life is very fast. I am still deciding to use their service

Yes I am. I went to their main page & it worked. But the other page I could never get it to load. If you are happy with them, use them. But see what others have to say about them on the above sites for another opinion.

yes, i see the review there, and very positive review it got. And the price is really attractive to get SQL Server support. But I don't know the review is made by their staff or not, and heard you that the site is very bad in your side, though very fast in my side. I hope they won't host their web site in Asia, coz my target customer is in North America side...

Well those other pages are working again for me. They are cheap - too cheap in my opinion. Plus where it says they are based, cost of living is very high there. And they do not have a toll free number for support it seems. Wonder how long it takes them to answer?

Here are some other things I found:

I did not even notice the unlimitd bandwidth. That is the biggest red flag that you can see. I would never use a hosting company that offered this. Also read:

Well it is ultimately up to you - if really not bad is good enough for you, then I would say go for it. But you did read about their billing practices as well & how bad the unlimited bandwidth offer is.

Save your money folks ! Go to and take advantage of their offerings. These people are giving access for free. Why? They tell me that their system is best and by giving it away, more people will try it out. I haven't personally tried it yet, but it is on the top of my list.
