I am trying to print a drawing but if a select "scale lineweights" it will come out everything black without any image. If remove the above mentioned option it works but with strange line weights.
On the Plot Settings tab on the Plot dialog box, you'll notice near the bottom-right there are 4 checkboxes, in a frame called Plot Options.
As default, the Plot with PlotStyles checkbox is checked. To Plot Object Lineweights, simply uncheck the Plot with Plot Styles box and the objct lineweights one will be enabled and checked. Trya plot preview to see if has worked and Hey Presto..
Don't bother using Scale Lineweights, unless you're using a non-standard paper or scale..
I hope this helps - Any more questions, let us know..
My problem is that if I don't use the "scale lineweights" option my lines come out with non desired weights. I am trying to plot the draw into an EPS file and then import it in Adobe Illustrator.
Even if I try to print the draw in my printer it comes weird.
It seems somthing is worng because now after trying what you said it comes a big black rectangle and a colored circle on it and when zooming a pink line flashes.
Again any more ideas ??? I am desperate because this needs to be ready by tomorrow.
No sorry, to be honest, I've not had a tremendous amount of experience with EPS files, so I can't help you anymore. Maybe, someone else out might be of some assistance..
