I am trying to load a patch remotely to an option 11c. I know the pload, pins command in PDT. Does anyone know the steps to load it from the PCMCIA or from desktop to the u/Patch directory. I believe I have to TX and RX from procomm???

FTP from your machine to the destination

Remember if it doesn't work hit it harder

From PCMCIA

"pwd" tells you what directory your in
"cd c:/u/patch" puts you in the patch directory
"cp a:/p12345_1.ssc ." copies file from PCMCIA to current
directory

pload pins you know.

You can FTP with procomm go to manual connect.
enter host IP
User name "user"
password "pdt2 password"
path "/u/patch"

connect. copy and paste file in. pload pins.

also there is a command to tell the switch to recieve a file in PDT think it is "rx" been a while as I think I've only used it when you used to send the over the serial connection from your PC.
