Thanks

What RLS is the switch. I'm guessing real old. On early systems, there was not enough memory to hold all LD's so when you go from LD to LD, the System Loader needs to load that LD, (that's a lot of loads), from tape/HD into system memory for you to access it. On tape systems this can take several minutes.

equipment: Meridian opt 71 RLS 19

How many minutes?

TKS

IF YOU REL 19 IT SHOULDN'T TAKE THAT LONG, LESS THAN 30 SEC. IF LONGER YOU MAY HAVE A BAD MDU

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

What is the procedure for Its problem?

MDU= Its a Hard Disk?

Tks

Hi,

Log into the switch and type:

DIST

Wait a few seconds and then type:

ENLT

This should reset the "tape" unit
