Please let me know how to use:
Visual Foxpro V7 OLE automation MailMerge in Office XP MS-Word instead of Office 2000 MS-Word

On which URL site's can we find the correct OLE methods for OFFICE XP, so that we can use Mailmerge

All works fine with Office 2000 and older, but gives problems with Office XP

I use class browsier when ever I want to OLE automation.

try ising the class browser to view XP. class browser will let you check the syntx of methods, events and properties. Attitude is Everything

What fails in XP? It was my sincere hope that MS would keep the OLE interface to Word stable... it has been remarkably stable from Word 2.0 through Word 2000, but are they really Screwing us with Office XP?

Well looking in the help file (VBAWD10.chm) under "What's New for Microsoft Word 2002 Developers" they say:

"Extensive changes have been made to the Microsoft Word 2002 Visual Basic object model to support new and improved features in the application.

"Visit the Office Developer Center at MSDN Online for the latest Microsoft Word development information, including new technical articles, downloads, samples, product news, and more."

So it looks like you'll have some browsing to do. I'd go to that page and see if any of the changes are likely to affect you. Dave Dardinger
