I am stuck!!!! I have tried everything and nothing has worked. I need to change the caller id or station name. I have followed every step in this doc and have tried other things and nothing.

The fartherest I get is to the current name for example joe jones- I cannot do anything after that I enter in hexa decimal code as stated and nothing. Does anyioone know a way to delethe name diplayed. Everyone I have asked keeps saying that I should be able to overwrite the name....? How? The cursor flashes, I type and it puts any anything that I type at the end of the name. Can anyone explain what is going on or if there is another way of doing this!!! PLEASE HELP

I take it it's not the password access level then.

When you type in the hex after the - and then press Cnf what do you get?

If you just want to delete a name enter CCC instead of the hex and press Cnf

Are you actually doing this from a phone or are you connecting a pc to the system?

Thank you have saved me! I was doing this from a phone but never new how to delete the displayed name. CCC worked you are awesome thank you, thank you thank you........

The thing is the hex that you enter after the dash is treated in precicely the same way as the CCC if you enter the hex and press Cnf then go back and look at the name on the extension by simply pressing recall you would see that the name will have changed to the new entry. The dash is the prompt to enter the new data. The pressing of the Cnf key is the execute command.

You can also program an access code to allow you to change the names from the extensions themselves. I usually use 62
