Please Help

I am newbie to Crystal 10. I had worked with Crystal 5 long back. Now we have web application in JSP. Would like to creates some report. I have Crystal Reports 10 developer Edition. I am very confused about the Crystal Reports 10 developer and Crystal Enterprise installation. When I installed Crystal Reports 10 developer I see Crystal designer. I am confused about CMS etc. I checked documentation about Administrators Guide. didn't helped. Can any one give me the direction where I should start? Thanks.

Now that you installed the CR10 Crystal Reports disk you need to install the Crystal Enterprise disk that came in the same box. Make sure that the computer you install it on has the lastest version of IIS.

Once you have done that you should be able to find the right tools.

Thanks for the reply. With software box I got Crystal reports CD. Embedded edition Crystal Enterprise and Crystal Enterprise CDs are 30 days Evaluation version. We bought Crystal Reports 10 Developer Edition. I don't have Crystal Enterprise disk other than evaluation version. Did we buy wrong software?

No you have the right software. If you purchased the Developer Edition you should have the Crystal Enterprise disk with 5 users. Have you registered the software? If not, you should do so and then call Crystal's tech support. There is something wrong here.

Thanks for help. I want to create a User interface using crystal server pages. So I can get the user selection and pass them as parameters to run the report. I don't find much information about Crystal Server pages. Using what and how to create CSP. Is there any documentation I can refer?

Here are a couple of leads:

First there are several white paper on the Crystal (now business objects) web site.

Second, there are several sample applications on your disk. I don't think they install automatically on your hard drive, but if you search the disk you should find them. They are well documented.

Third, buy a copy of George Peck's "Crystal Reports 9: The complete reference" Published by McGraw-Hill. You can buy it on Amazon and other places.
