Hi friends,
i am using powermac 8.1 os and when i go to the browser ( I.E 4.1) and say go to

http://www.yahoo.com

or hotmail.com ,
it does not hide the password i mean it clearly show the password i am typing for my mail account .how do i enable the *** style .Is there any settings in the Mac os..

is a free download of version 5.16 of IE, it may help I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

If your mac can support it I'd upgrade to 8.6, which is required for the latest browsers. You need 32 megs of ram and a PowerPC processor.

This sounds like an encryption issue.
he older browser you are using may not have the proper encryption for the security you seek.

You may look to the microsoft we site and see if there's an encryption patch or update for the browser you mention but I'd be skeptical.

then navigate using the nav menu on the left over to IE.

Hope this hleps. Otherwise you are forced to upgrade your browser. You may also try Opera..it too is a browser and I find the encryption very stable plus it's not as RAM hungry as IE.
