My name is Nick and I am new to Netbackup World. I am interested of learning more about netbackup. I was wondering if you could help me with some of the questions down below. Also, I think some of these questions are very fundemental once posted online it would be of great help to the next students of Netbackup.

media server has a storage unit attached to write backups to

2.What's netbackup SSO option for?
allows sharing of tape drives between media servers

3. What is vaulting and what is the process involved in setting up vaulting?
add-on package that llows duplication/ejection/reporting on images to be sent offsite. Uses vaulting policies to create canidates for duplication/ejection and reports.

4. How to stop and start netbackup services?
on UNIX master server as the user root
netbackup start
netbackup start
on window mmaster as admin
bpup
bpdown

5. What is the name of the netbackup configuration file on the client?
UNIX
