I have an external Scsi array that was attached to a NT computer that died - I need to bring it up on an XP computer - I got a new SCSI card and installed it in the XP computer and the drives are coming up when I attach the array - however it is saying the drives are not formatted and showing more drives then there actually are.

Has this ever happened to anyone.

Thanks,
Sarah

I presume you know about scsi jumpers and IDs

Sarah,

what was your "old" scsi card and what is your new one?
Did you hook up an internal scsi drive, the famous T split error! Also did you check termination? What kind of termination do you use: active or passive?
