Dear all,

I'm having this very aggravating problem whenever I'm trying to access certain secure websites to pay my bills, etc. I would try to process a transaction and a message:

AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2600.0 ModName: ietop100.dll
ModVer: 1.11.2000.918 Offset: 00003b1c

It would give me the option to send an Error Report to Microsoft and then automatically close my IE window.

I'm very lousy at computers, so I don't know if I gave enough details. I was using IE v5.5___ and upgraded to 6.0 but the problem's still there. I run a P4 1.7GHz on WinME.

Thank you all in advance. Please save me from this internet madness!

Your problem most likely lies in upgrading to IE 6. When I did this I experienced nothing but system problems after that, also unable to access websites, and experiencing IE freezing time after time.
I would suggest that you go back to IE 5.5. To do this go into your add/remove programs. Choose IE internet explorer and click remove. You will then recieve another box with three options. Choose restore previous configuration.
This will restore IE 5.5. A word to the wise. Do not upgrade Microsoft products unless they have been out for at leat 1 year or so.
Hope this helps.

I have upgrade many computers to IE6 with no problems. Please note after you upgrade to IE6 there are some updates that will show up on the windows update site. Download all of the updates for IE6 and all of the secruity fixes.

Windows ME???? Any chance of upgrading the OS????

Good Luck
