I have configured for Remote clients to connect via Cisco VPN Client with a pre-shared key. But my clients can't connect. I suspect the outside access list is wrong. But I did not create this entry and before I edit it, I want to know if this configuration is correct and how can I let access to any remote client with the proper pre-shared key and vpn group. This is my running config. Thank you all in advance.

Have you generated the rsa key for the pix firewall?

You will need to do the following (or similar (I'm using PIX7):

ca zeroize
ca generate rsa key 1024
ca save

Alan

Hi Alan,

First of thank you very much for the suggestion. Please correct me if I am wrong but I am not using Certificate Authority. I am just using preshared keys. So do I need to RSA Key? I am reading Syngress Book but can't seem to understand some concepts. Also the English is kind of hard for me since I am non native speaker. I tried to do a basic setup with the PDM still I get the above error. Is there any simple configuration I can apply? Just change the IP, NAT pool, Password, vpn group name etc.

Any help is appreciated.
