I have a Intel Pro 100\+ I removed using the GUI interface so I could re-add it latter. Now it does not show up in the Netconfig, but it shows up in HW Config. And I am still able to connect to the server over the network. This is on SCO 5.0.6, the network card was dtected on installation. Is there anyway to manually remove?? Or add???

Hello !
Dunno if this will help you but under,
/usr/lib/netconfig/info/net0 you should have your nic.
Try to rename that file to net0.old and reboot.

Thanks but now for some reason when I do a HWCONFIG I have two LAN adapters eeE0 and eeE1 any suggestions???? Thanks for the previous reply.

have you tried removing it thru scoadmin (not the GUI but in shell)? networks - network configuration - remove network adapter..it might help

Right now I am at the point where no matter where I am (in the GUI or the shell) the card is not displayed in SCO Admin. However when I do a hwconfig the card shows up, and in netstat the card is also there. I think that I should try and manually remove the card, but I havn't the foggiest idea on where to begin. I did try the first response to my cry for help without any luck. I appreciate the responses and will look for anymore that you may have.

Thanks.
