Please Help Joining to an Existing Farm

Hello All,

i'm adding one server to our existing PS4.5 server that is running sql 2005 express. what steps do i need to do? Also, what should i install on the new server, just the Presentation Server right and nothing else?

Error when trying to connect to the existing Farm's Database:

"The selected database server does not have any server farms. Select another database server."

I have tried authenticating against the SQL database with a SQL account over ODBC as well as connecting directly to the SQL database.

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!

the solution was to add the user that has access to the database to all of the sql users group under windows MMC.
