Hi guys.

I really hope someone can help me here as I got a really mean Virus on my main computer. what is does is , at start up, it posts a big warning on my screen. WARNING ! Spyware detected on your computer! he wants me to active stuff and so on........ then the rest of the screen turn all white, and I can't use the PC anymore.

I tried all the medicine that I know. I ran the clean spy programs both in safe and regular mode without success.

I have tried spybot S&D, my anti virus Avast. I have gone online for trend micro housecall.( virus ( I guess) won't let me proceed to step 2 and scan the PC.) I have tried online with Microsoft Malicious Software Removal: he saw nothing. I have tried regclean as well: no change.

so far none of the programs I used is working..They see no viruses in my PC !

system restore won't let me use it. I can only go back one day. I can't choose a prior date. the dates won't highlight on the calendar...

I'm kind of desperate now. Please help. what would you do now?

thanks for you time and expertise...

I have to go to work now and can only see the answers tomorrow.

Yes you have Antivirus 2009, it is a bogus program, don't buy into it. I have had some success but it is slow going, as soon as I have it figured out I will post back. It is really mean and the longer it is on the worse it becomes.

All I can contribute is, If you know when you got it do a system restore to a prior date, some have said it will work?

I believe it's impairing my system restore , it can only restore to one day . this it. nothing before August 19th will work....
Please get back to me if you find a way to kill this thing.

Anybody else knows what to do please?

forgot to say I'm with windows xp pro.

I got rid of it with this program.

scrool down the middle of the page until you see:

Automated Removal Instructions for Antivirus 2009 using Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware:

download the program. it worked for me.
