PLEASE HELP!!! How can I find my license key on Windows 2000 1

My home computer has been infested with virus and I have used NAV to "clean" it up. However many of the key executables for several of the applications had to be either quarrantined or deleted . Therefore i am forced to reinstall my windows 2000.

I have the windows 2000 CD, but misplaced my license key. How do I find the license key from my computer?

If the OS is still bootable download the above software for keyfinder run it on the machine and it will find the key code for you then copy it down.

Ok, that was a great suggestion.
I have another question, does anyone know how to identify what the key number is for a CD if you have the CD, but have lost the Key No. that goes with that CD?

Tip: always, always, always write the key on the label side (_NOT_ the shiny side) of a new CD as soon as you open the package. Use a permanent marker (such as a Sharpir(tm)). _NEVER_ write on a CD with a pencil, ball point or a (water based) felt tip pen.
