Please help Error E3719 and E3712

Hello,

Thanks for the help in advance. Today I notice that my backup fail with 2 errors:

E3719 Unable to write to media
E3712 Unable to close session

can someone help me out.

my experience with e3719 is, if it happens only on a couple tapes but works fine on others, than there is something wrong with the tape(s). but if it happens on every tape the tape drive may need to be replaced...

You may want to check and make sure the media isn't write protected.
 
I am using ARCserve 11.5 SP3 and I am experiencing this same issue with all of my media.

E3719 Unable to write to media. EC=ERROR DAEMON NOT INITIALIZED
E3712 Unable to close session. EC=ERROR DAEMON NOT INITIALIZED

The funny thing is that I can backup to the same tapes in the same drive using the BackupNT program built in to Windows. So I know the tapes and the drive are working fine.

Any help would be really appreciated.
 
make sure the tape device/s are disabled from within the OS Device Manager.
