please help, anoying word problem.. an L and a backwards L by header

hey all,

on the left side of my header i have a backward L and on the right side i have what appears to be an L they're actually not Ls at all but more like just right angles..

i can't seem to get rid of them, and i do not know how they got there.. thanks in advance..

btw, took a look.. theres one in each corner..

I know this may sound silly and you've more than likely looked at this but the L's they are not tab stops set up in the header are they
