Hello everyone, I have to remodel my place so I had to disconnect all the pos systems, 2 days ago I put everything back where it was but all the pos's keep restarting they start aloha but when the reach the reading:system then they reboot. I do not know what's the problem, I can use my vnc to log in to them from the server but they keep restarting. please any advice ASAP.

where can i find it i looked into the tmp file but its not there

First, check and make sure that the date on your BOH computer is correct. Second, open up the file called something like d:\aloha\data\aloha.ini as well as d:\aloha\newdata\aloha.ini

Look for the DOB =
and correct it. let the system refresh itself and see what happens. What you are seeing happening when you are coming back from a long time turned off, is that it is running an end of day for each day that you have been turned off, until now. Which as you probably know, an EOD reboots the system.

Cheers,
Nick

secondly, make sure there is not a trans.log inside your "data" folder and refresh (ie: d:\aloha\data\trans.log).

In aloha manager under utilities if you can select start front of house.

Cheers,
Coorsman
