Ok there are some known problems with the 501 and constatnt rebooting. Try this Unplug all power cables and plug them back in. Make sure to seat them all firmaly. You have to be careful when moving the 501 when it is in production. 9 Time out of 10 it will lose poser the power cable connectors down seem up to par. Unplugging usually works. If it doesnt and you still cant get in you will most likely need to replace.

Thanks for the reply...yes, we have tried to unplug the power cable for a few minutes... and still the same results. Are you suggesting that this is strictly a hardware malfunction?

Yes. I know there is a bug out there for this. In some cases if you are able to disable logging it will help. Also try another power source. The PIX power supply (Brick) may also be bad. If you have smartnet I would get it replaced.
