Play an wav file to all internal users

Hi All,

I have an IPOffice 500 V2 with R9 software, I have around 90 internal users, I want to schedule a call to all internal users and play a Voicemail or wav file to all user phones.

All users have 96xx,11xx and 12xx series phone.

Any help is much appreciated

So what you want, A wav file and 90 extensions ringing at the same time?

Does everybody has to answer to hear the wav file?

And if someone's outside the oficce ans doesn't answer?


Why do you want this?

I want to use this feature as reminder call, same like meeting reminder in outlook

I will schedule a call 15 minutes before the meeting and all 90 users will get a reminder call, once user answer specified message will play.

Not mandatory to answer by all users, if user is outside office and twinning is enabled then call will route to twinned number

I would go for the speaker paging then.

But even then I do need to think it over how to setup this.


With personal call to each extension you need a lot of VM pro licenses.

group paging option is there in IPOffice, can we use this option and achieve this

Yes you could. Try via the alarm option in VM pro.

It's not going to call 90 people and independently play a .wav file to each one and do so to twinned destinations, that will never happen. You can page a lot of people over speaker with a .wav though, that's fairly easy (though unsupported)

more then one paging group... Set alarmcalls to each paging group..

But it is a hassle and I should not do this kind of setup.
