Platinum 4.8a Queue

We run Platinum 4.8a on Pervasive and utilize the queue manager on the server that hosts the database. Platinum itself runs fine however, the queue goes down every once in a while. The queue just freezes and I have to kill it and restart it. I have thought about putting the queue on one of the client workstations so they can mess with it when it goes down however, I think that this could cause more confusion that it is worth. Any tips on this situation would be much appreciated. I can post the batch files that executes the queue if that would be helpful.

Are there any related log entries in the server system or application logs when the queue crashes? Is there any indication of whether it's crashing due to system or pervasive error conditions/messages?

Is the queue actually abending or does it just hang?

I think you should just put up a W2K box to do the PAS. That's what we are doing and life is so much more easier.
