Plastic cover effect ...

trying to add a effectr on a graphic that it is behind a CD jewel case, been playing around with various overlay filters but, cant get that nice depth or shine, any suggestions ?

For nice shiny reflections I like to add a layer on top of my image and fill it white and set the opacity to around 20-35%. The layer can be a square or curvy, use your creative instincts to determine where the relection would cast.

Have you tried:
Filter > Artistic > Plastic Wrap?

slight off blue white layer,
second colour dark blue
cloud effect
ligthing effect , soft light/material plastic , intesity bright
saturation reduced
colour balance all reduced
POsterize
Blue more
colour line , to make the layer a blakish/whitish
layer set as soft light
opacity set to 25%
