Hi there,

I have a 3904 set with a Plantronics CS50 wireless headset plugged into it. it worked fine last week, and now is not working. The green light is on on the base unit, but when you press the headset key, nothing happens.

I have changed the cables, switched to the handset jack to see if I could get something there. The headset and base both blink as if they're on, but the 3904 is not recognizing that there is a headset plugged in.

Has anyone seen this before? Can someone help?

plantronics are not real stable, we lose one about once a week.. but we have 100's if not more.. try it on a different set, could be the set, usually the plantronic

When you press the Headset key on your 3904, does the red light to the left of it light up? I had a similar problem about a month ago & had to replace the 3904. Like John says, try it on a different telephone to determine if it actually is the headset or the 3904.

I haven't tried switching the phone. I'll try that in the AM. the red light does not come on next to the headset key, but that happens when you don't have anything plugged into it, so I assumed that something was wrong with the headset. It's brand new, only a week old so I hope that it's not broken.
