Hi guys,

I've got a "Planar PCI does not respond or is disabled by user" error on boot. The server is a IBM X Series 330. Any suggestion / ideas on how to solve this?

Is this from the RSA, or on the terminal as it boots? Of course you can always call IBM Service.

This is in the terminal when it boots.

you can always open it up,, and reseat cards., My advice is to call IBM service. That is why you carry 24/7 service contracts.

This message is generated when a device fails that is on the main board OR when it is disabled by the user through the BIOS settings. I get the same message but I know that I have the onboard SCSI disabled (RAID card installed). You could have one of the two ethernet ports disabled and get the same message.
