Hi!
We have an Ericcson BusinessPhone PBX with a few DECT base stations connected to it. Is there a way to use such a DECT base at a remote location (I assume there are length limitations on copper connections...)? My idea is to use either fiber with some sort of media converter or even use IP (we have a municipal IP network) for the digital signals and supply the DECT base with power at the remote location (normally supplied via the RJ45 jack). We have a small branch office and some two or three other locations where it would be valueable with a "local" phone connection.
The company that sold us the PBX don't know even how the DECT bases communicate with the PBX, if it is ethernet, T1/E1 or a proprietary protocol. Anybody who actually knows?
Our DECT bases are marked KRCNB 301 03/1 R2C BS330.
Any help is appreciated!
/Fredrik
